Our Founder & History
After attending Seton Hall University, Ed spent 10 years, “learning by doing,” then opened his own firm, E.C. Provini Co., Inc., in 1986. It grew exponentially over the years. Past experience included stints with Terminal Construction and M. Alfieri Company. Ed took a four-year carpenter apprenticeship with the NJ Carpenters Union.
Ed built the business on the philosophy of “the client comes first, profit second”.
“A successful project starts with understanding the needs and requirements of the client and putting that ahead of anything else, including profit.” Keeping a commitment to this philosophy helped to build relationships and trust that lead to repeat projects and word of mouth referrals.
The hands-on approach that Ed instilled in all of us has stayed with the company and is still our primary driver of maintaining on budget, on time, high quality project completion. Many of the employees Ed hired are still with the company, which speaks to our stability and quality of work.
